World-renowned NBA superstar\u00a0Jimmy\u00a0Butler\u00a0has been a buzz in the\u00a0coffee community for the past year<\/a>, with the creation of his coffee brand Big Face. Going live last week, the Big Face brand is aimed to teach mainstream consumers what top-tier specialty coffee is. Owner\u00a0Jimmy\u00a0Butler\u00a0has dived into the world of coffee, and we are proud to say that La Marzocco has been there to encourage him and the Big Face Brand.<\/p>\n

This summer the Big Face team and\u00a0Jimmy\u00a0traveled to our factory in Scarperia, Italy to La Marzocco headquarters<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Accademia del Caffe Espresso in Fiesole, Italy<\/a>\u00a0where they received an enormous welcome from our team. They took time to learn about our machines, history, coffee preparation methods, and coffee production.<\/p>\n

At our production site, they spoke and built a Linea Mini with the people responsible for creating every La Marzocco Home machine. At the Accademia del Caffe Espresso they learned about coffee preparations, as\u00a0Jimmy\u00a0Butler\u00a0attempted his first latte art creations with the aid of Nora \u0160mahelov\u00e1, Coffee Education Leader at\u00a0Accademia del Caff\u00e8 Espresso.<\/p>\n

Last year, while the NBA quaranteined together in the infamous\u00a0NBA bubble in Walt Disney World<\/a>,\u00a0Jimmy\u00a0sold coffee to his teammates, this was the seed that sparked his growing passion. In the current Big Face offerings, the \u201cGo-Lab\u201d includes a custom Linea Mini.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
